VOLUNTEER/JOIN
We are Team and a Family at Station #25 and we are always looking for
new members to join our organization. There are many membership opportunities with us that don’t just
include running into burning buildings. Our Fire Team is made up of members with a broad range of skills
and knowledge because that's what it takes to get the job done.
If you are interested in joining our organization you must first complete a full application for membership.
Applications for membership are available at this web site or at the office of the Fire Chief. When the
application is filled out completely, it is returned to the Fire Chief for processing. All applicants will be
interviewed, checked for a previous criminal background, and given an aptitude test.
Upon completing and passing all stages of this process the applicant will be issued the appropriate protective
equipment and a pager for their response to emergencies. The applicant will serve a six month probation period
to show the current team members there abilities and their commitment to the service and the community. At the
end of the probation period all existing members will hold a vote to accept or deny the applicant for
membership based on their six month performance.
